The Americans with Disabilities Act was passed by Congress
and affirms the goals of equal opportunity and independence for Americans
with physical and mental disabilities. It intends to ban discrimination
in employment as secured by Title I of the act and remove physical barriers
in buildings as secured by Title III. The resources and intent of this site
deal more specifically with Title III: Public Accommodations
